The year 2023 was a breakthrough for our kennel in many ways.
The fundamental decision was made in March, when our Casablanka celebrated her fourth birthday. About time for her first mating. With regard to her excellent results in the field of exhibitions and especially in sports, the search for a partner was clearly directed in one direction. SPORTS Litter :-) I see the representation at the World Coursing Championship in Sweden as the second crucial moment. Two-year-old Karel excelled with the World Champion and future groom of Casablanka. No one wants to compete with an excellent dog, Karel competed him twice. And among the world's elite, he was on the fifth place on the podium. I cried :-) But in order, so I don't skip: Photos that present our breeding activities until April 2023 can be seen in the previous article on the blog (Starting with the new ones). At the end of April we had a wonderful meeting with the breeder of Karel at the club show in Konopiště (Casablanca again Club winner). And sixteen sloughi at the show was an incredible number!
Little Dalmi and I attend training courses, Casablanca receives the title of Polish Champion and in Grafenegg, twice wins the BIS title in the working class, all the time under the guidance of Anička.
Helen matures like wine - already eight years old, still just as stunning - and her own, of course :-) And Karel gets a racing license.
The beginning of June is marked by Dalmas - at the club show in the beautiful surroundings of the Náměšť nad Oslavou castle, he wins the title of Best Baby II. and I get from Petra Lučná, the photographer, excellent photos of our boys. I'm blown away, excited! They are absolutely luxurious.
And the second milestone - the World Cup Sweden is here. Incredible experiences, lifetime experiences. Atmosphere, friends, meetings, but also travel, accommodation. A dream.
And we fall from one mega event to another - a holiday by the sea. On the way we stop at a two-day exhibition in Czestochowa, Poland - Karel BOB, Meddie CACIB junior - great results!! And a dream vacation - see the previous article in the blog.
After the holiday, we race again, exhibit. Holiday Wind Cup is won by Casablanka, Karel third. On the exhibition field, Karel completes his campaign against Slovakian beauty champion. Meddie gets two more CACIB juniors and on my birthday - August 31st - we publish a flyer for the planned E Dalvit litter. But about that in the next article of our blog. To complete the 2023 photo show, I am adding photos from Tošovice - NordCoursing Cup and two-weekend events from the Hungarian castles (beauty and performance) - the future mother Casablanka dares to take the title again :-)
For the sake of completeness, a mention should also be made of the prestigious award for Karel. He becomes Austrian beauty champion and Polish beauty champion.
And the sports award of the year - Coursing winner of the Czech Republic.
Neither the younger brother stands in the corner. The day after reaching the age of nine months, he wins in Bratislava and gets all the possible awards of the day: EX1, CAJC, FCI-CACIB-J, junior BOB, BOB. A famous animal!
