I am aware that not only among the owners, but also among our judges, there are discussions about the Sloughi and other breeds. Some remember the old type and the FOUNDERS of our new ones. I myself do not want to go back to the thirties, when this type was "common" in Europe. And it took many years after the war to find new breeding material. Well, we know modern history. We have lost a lot of material and the strongest hunters are almost gone. I think we need to go back a bit, switch, to regain what was lost.
To say that my Karel's (Nawara x Hour) parents are or appear to be crossbreeds is not correct and not at all fair. They are origin types. We have published the DNA results of brothers Karel and Kabriq on the breed archive. The results speak for themselves 😊
